Terms of Service

Albemo provides tools for adults to privately preserve photos, videos, written stories and other memories in digital albums, and to share selected content with people they choose. Features, storage limits and family-viewing limits depend on the plan.

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials and activity performed through your account. Notify Albemo promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Albemo a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transcode where needed, display, back up and transmit your content solely to operate, secure and provide the service according to your instructions.

You may not use Albemo to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, abuse infrastructure, upload unlawful exploitation material, impersonate others, or interfere with other users or the service.

Albemo requires a paid subscription for its album workspace. 10GB Monthly costs US$7/month, 10GB Yearly US$75/year, and 50GB Yearly US$199/year, before applicable taxes. Payments are processed through Paddle. Unless you cancel before renewal, the subscription may renew automatically at the price shown for your account and checkout, including any applicable taxes.

Reference prices may be displayed in US dollars on some marketing pages. Paddle may present a supported local currency, tax treatment or country-specific price at checkout. The final price shown in Paddle Checkout before purchase is the amount that governs the transaction.

Available plan changes are handled through Paddle. An upgrade may take effect immediately and may include prorated billing. A downgrade may be scheduled or prorated according to the option shown when the change is requested. If a lower plan has smaller storage or sharing limits, some actions may be restricted until usage is within the new limits; Albemo does not promise automatic deletion solely because a lower limit is exceeded.

After your paid period ends, your collection is locked for a 25-day retention window. Renew before the deadline shown on your membership page to restore access to retained content. Otherwise your photos, videos, voice recordings, albums and written memories will be deleted from active storage after that deadline, and your sharing access will end. Your account remains available for a new subscription. Deleted collection content is not restored by a later payment. Four reminder emails are scheduled; safety checks or delivery problems may delay deletion.

You can stop future renewal from Albemo or the available Paddle billing portal. Unless applicable law or provider rules require otherwise, paid access normally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period.

We aim to provide a reliable preservation service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Albemo may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features for security, legal, technical or business reasons.

Albemo uses operational safeguards and backups, but no storage system can provide an absolute guarantee against every form of loss. Keep independent copies of irreplaceable originals.

You control whom you invite and what you share. Current family access is viewing access unless Albemo explicitly states that contributor or upload access is available.

You may delete your account from Settings. If an active Paddle subscription is linked to the account, Albemo attempts to stop recurring billing before deletion completes. Albemo may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations, security threats, fraud, nonpayment or legal requirements.

Albemo is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Albemo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or opportunities. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive mandatory consumer, privacy or other rights that apply to you under the law of your jurisdiction. If a provision conflicts with a non-waivable right, that right continues to apply.
